Talya Danzig is a singer-songwriter preparing to release her debut album. Her powerful live band show blends uplifting grooves with deeply personal stories.

Following the October 7 attacks, Talya’s family survived the massacre at Nir Oz, while her grandfather, Alex Dancyg, was taken hostage, murdered in captivity, and later returned for burial. Her debut album was born from the trauma and healing of those years, exploring grief, family, her grandfather, the kibbutz, and a hope for peace and a more normal future.

While the lyrics are often emotional, they are wrapped in warm, uplifting grooves. The performance draws on reggae, spoken word, hip-hop inspired by Lauryn Hill, and African musical influences.
