Some Jazz – a new jazz concert series at The Yellow Submarine, featuring some of the finest ensembles and musicians in the country. Every Wednesday, Some Jazz at The Submarine, with a modest admission fee.

“Trio Halev” is made up of three rising and prominent musicians in the jazz scene. The trio performs original compositions alongside arrangements of songs from diverse ethnic cultures around the world, creating a musical journey that crosses borders and brings soulful sounds.

Each musician is highly active and well known in the jazz scene: Yuval Drabkin, one of Israel’s leading saxophonists, works with Avishai Cohen and Tamir Greenberg. Eden Giat, who has released two albums under his own name, collaborates with Shlomo Bar, Omer Avital, and others. David Michaeli, a sought-after bassist, performs across Europe with the acclaimed trio Shalosh.

The three have played together for years in various ensembles. Following many successful performances over the past two years, they decided to bring the project to wider audiences and record their debut album.
