Some Jazz – a new jazz concert series at The Yellow Submarine, featuring some of the finest ensembles and musicians in the country. Every Wednesday, Some Jazz at The Submarine, with a modest admission fee.

Dina Kitrossky is a versatile pianist and an acclaimed composer. Through her exploration of Middle Eastern piano techniques, alongside her work in the world of jazz, she brings new colors and a deeply personal inner world to the piano. Dina takes this distinctly Western instrument and, through the use of maqams, rich harmonies, and quarter tones, infuses it with the soul and depth of the East. The result is a new musical language — personal, complex, and emotionally resonant — where every note is charged with meaning.
In December 2023, she released her outstanding debut album, Waves, in which harmonic scales and quarter tones intertwine.

The concert series is held in honor of Judi Shostack and her family, with the support of the Jerusalem Foundation.
