Most Jerusalem folk know the Yellow Submarine to be a live music concert venue. Although that is true, the Submarine functions primarily as a home and incubator for musicians.
As such we initiate and produce many different projects surrounding music education and these strange creatures we call “musicians”.
Our ongoing projects (besides the live music venue) include: High school matriculation music program, The Band project for young musicians, a professional school of Sound Design, The “Greenhouse” initiative for local artists and groups, The International Music Showcase Festival (produced in association with the Foreign Ministry), our musical youth summer camp, some of the finest rehearsal and practice rooms in town, and of course our legendary recording studio.
