Sporting a unique instrumental frontline of trombone, harmonica, and alto sax, ‘TM Street Band’ seamlessly weaves a wide array of disparate styles together from gypsy to latin, from old Israeli folklore to funk, jazz and blues.

TM Street Band’ is the brainchild of NYC based Israeli multi-instrumentalist and composer Tal Mashiach. Sporting a unique instrumental frontline of trombone, harmonica, and alto sax, ‘TM Street Band’ seamlessly weaves a wide array of disparate styles together from gypsy to latin, from old Israeli folklore to funk, jazz and blues.
The band is performing regularly in NYC well known Jazz and world music venues like Nublu, Rockwood Music Hall, Cornelia street Cafe, etc.
Upon receiving a full scholarship to the prestigious New School, Tal Mashiach moved to New York in early 2015. He performed in venues and festivals such as Newport Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, J.F. Kennedy Center, Montreal Jazz Festival and toured extensively with musicians including Mulatu Astatke, Avishai Cohen (trumpet) and he is a permanent member of Grammy Award nominee Anat Cohen Tentet.
