Anat Malamud connects flavors of the old world with contemporary music, mixing simplicity with complexity into a mould of touching, sensitive songs. Anat broke onto the scene with the song ‘Nigun’, a magical and lush piece that dominated the airwaves. Since then she has collaborated with musician Adam Ben Amitai, creating a duet which has become a fan favourite and a radio hit in it’s own right. Malamud has also recently signed with Helicon, and released a new collaboration preceding her second studio release. ‘Fear Dances’ was created from the struggle of coping with family tragedy and heartbreak, and the wish to share this pain instead of handling it alone.
