Under Guidelines Present: It’s Not Women’s Day

“Under Guidelines” is a series of concerts broadcast from the depths of the Submarine directly to audiences at home.

COVID-19 has left us stranded in our homes, and the live music realm shut down for over a month.

In light of these bizarre conditions we have decided to run a special series of performances – giving people at home access to high quality live music, and creating opportunity for the incapacitated music industry.

Viewers get to experience intimate and unique performances – each from the comfort of their favourite couch, their favourite drink in hand, dressed in anything from tuxedo to pyjamas! All while watching and listening to some of the country’s greatest artists and groups, who cannot wait to get back onstage.

These performances will be held in a very special format!

Each show will have a host, a short Q&A, and a couple of stories from the artists.

*Prices are 25 ILS or higher – any donations will be lovingly appreciated, with every Shekel going towards helping the artists and people behind the scenes that have been immobilized for nearly two months!

*Broadcast will take place via private groups on Facebook.

*A link to said group will be e-mailed to you immediately upon ticket purchase.

*Entry into groups will be validated with ticket purchase details.

It’s Not Women’s Day

Four women, Four musicians, Four creative souls, Four new voices you should listening to – Renana Ne’eman, Maya Pennington, Nomke and Haze’evot.

Renana Ne’eman is a harpist, singer and composer, based in Tel Aviv.

Her new album “Rebel Bell” (released April 2020) offers sharp lyrics on personal and political rebellion and plays on their divide. From falling bombs, to witchery, to charges of the heart: it’s metaphoric, real and imagined.

Maya Pennington

A multi-layered and eclectic exhibition of works from Maya’s upcoming debut EP to be released this coming June), electrified Yiddish and more

Nomke released a gorgeous new video directed by Yasoo Tessel for “Ended (by the morning)”, her first single off of 2020’s True Queen. Nomke explains that “’Ended (by the morning)’ is about love, disillusionment, and self-approval. It’s about finding comfort in temporary fragments of love and pushing harder to find love within yourself. Our goal was to show the best parts of falling in love in Tel-Aviv and expose the city’s beauty in a simple, aesthetic, and undeniably fun video.”

Haze’evot is a rock band from TLV, IL

The band includes 4 musicians and best friends who together create a unique and strong  rock&roll sound.

The band’s songs deal with human connections, the struggle between genders, intimacy and other big questions which hover above our generation. Their shows are filled with power, energy, aggression and authenticity.
