Blue Pill returns to the Yellow Submarine in Jerusalem with a new show and the recently released single “Borot” (Pitfalls) from their upcoming album, after a year long tour across the nation, when the highlight of which was playing at the Torch-lighting Ceremony.
Songs from the new album, including the huge radio hits “Shir Li” (A song to me), Ein Emet Ahat” (There is no one truth) performed by Liron with Anat Malamud, “Har” (Mountain), which were featured in the Galgalatz playlist, the moving “Loop” and “Lev” (Heart), “Levithan,” and more surprises, will be featured in the new and exciting show.
The return to the stage was motivated not only by a love of the music and the unwavering thirst of the audience, but also by a profound realization that there is an accessibility problem in Israel, in general, and particularly in concerts. Liron, who was injured in an accident when he was 18 and now uses a wheelchair, deals with the lack of accessibility in public spaces every day and writes about it frequently on social media, receiving a lot of attention in the media. The goal of the performances is to raise awareness about what really goes on in the country, change the culture of ignoring these substantial and important individuals, and provide them with basic human rights.
The band made it a point to perform only in accessible locations and to raise the voices of those who are not heard.
