Bega`agu`ay —Uriah Haroush

Oud player, composer and vocalist Uriah Haroush was the principal oud player of the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra and has accompanied numerous artists including Paytan Rabbi Haim Louk, David D’Or, Shuli Rand, Amir Benayoun and Erez Lev Ari. This debut performance launches Haroush’s new album, Bega`agu`ay (yearning), which includes singles that have already been widely recieved: Bega`agu`ay and Ra`yati. The Album draws inspiration from a variety of styles and influences which Haroush incorporates alongside the development of makam to create a unique sound on the Oud. Haroush will host singer-songwriter Akiva, a childhood friend from their home town, Dimona.
